Sterne Digital Library: Cambridge 2020

The Sterne Digital Library Project is hosting a one-day conference in Cambridge on Friday 20th March, entitled:

Form, Media, Digitisation: Eighteenth-Century Adaptation and Sterneana, 1700-1860

This event will showcase the digitisation of Laurence Sterne works and Sterneana hosted by Cambridge Digital Library. It will also bring together scholars working on Sterne, on eighteenth-century literature more widely, on adaptation, on digital media, and in the digital humanities. Registration is free, and everyone is welcome to give a paper and to attend as a non-speaking delegate.

Find the call for papers here.

We’re also planning a journal special issue based on the conference theme, which welcomes abstracts based on papers given and from contributors unable to attend. If you’re interested in contributing, visit the conference website to find out more.

This conference is organised by Helen Williams (helen.williams@northumbria.ac.uk) and Mary Newbould (mcn23@cam.ac.uk). Please feel free to contact us with any queries.
